Course Aim
To provide participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to move human beings and inanimate objects safely and without injuring themselves or others.
Intended Outcomes

- Identify and understand the relevant legislation relating to Manual Handling and the responsibilities it places on employers and employees.
- Understand the relevance of cumulative injury in maintaining a healthy back.
- Understand the key principles of safe moving and handling.
- Understand the fundamentals of manual handling risk assessment.
- Participate in safe moving and handling techniques.
